We all want to be on that first page of Google results. The good news is that video can help you get there. Those external links pointing to your website are a key element to Google’s ranking of your website. This is where video can help. When you upload your video to video sharing websites such as YouTube and Vimeo, you can load it with your key search words. As a reminder, your key search words are those words that your customers are typing into Google to find your products and services.
There are three places where you can put your key search words: The title of your video, the description, and the tag word section. These are great places to insert your key words. One of my main key words is Video Production Company. I try to insert it in all three areas of each video that I upload. As a side note, it’s also important to have a link to your website in the description section of your video. Just make sure you include the http:// in the beginning.
The good news is that your videos are now out on the internet helping boost your SEO rankings and ultimately leading more customers to your website.
